Educational Qualification for Join Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 2022
Only For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders.
- Educational Qualification. Degree from a recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. Those studying in their final year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years of three/four years of degree courses respectively. Such students will need to secure an overall aggregate of a minimum of 50% marks in the degree course if selected for an interview, failing which their candidature will be Cancelled.
- Service in NCC. Should have served at least two or three years (as applicable) in the Senior Division of NCC / Wg.
- Grading. Should have obtained a minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC. Applicants, who are not holding an NCC ‘C’ Certificate on the date of application, are not eligible to apply for the course
Only For Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel.
- Eligibility Criteria. The vacancies under wards of battle casualties are available to communities (unmarried sons and unmarried daughters including legally adopted) of Battle casualties specified as, Killed in action, Died of wounds or injuries (Other than self-inflicted), Wounded or Injured (Other than self-inflicted), Missing, presumed dead.
- Educational Qualification. Degree from a recognized university or equivalent with an aggregate of a minimum of 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.
- NCC ‘C’ certificate NOT required for Wards of Battle Casualties.
- Details of Documents are to be provided in the Application Form.
- The ‘Battle Casualty’ Certificate Number issued by Manpower (Policy & Planning) Directorate (MP Dte) certifies that the parent has been killed/wounded/reported missing in action.
Course Info
This course is meant for those candidates who want to join the Indian Army as commissioned officers. Here, merit is the only criteria for the selection. You will be trained for a period of 2 years followed by an 18-month probation period. After completion of these courses, you will be allotted a choice of regiment or specialization. You can join the Army as an officer for 11 years. The course is open for male candidates who have completed their Class XII examinations and will be appearing for the National Aptitude Test for Army Coaching (NAC-AC) for entry into the Indian Army as an officer.
Eligibility
The candidates must have completed their Class XII examinations from the CBSE or any other recognized board and appear for the NAC-AC. The candidates in the following categories must fulfill the additional requirement as specified below. The candidates belonging to SC/ST category must have secured a minimum of 90% in Class XII and provided a NAC-AC valid for SC/ST candidates is declared. The candidates belonging to the category of Physically Handicapped (PH) must have secured a minimum of 80% in Class XII and provide a NAC-AC valid for PH candidates is declared. Candidates who are visually impaired must have secured a minimum of 80% in Class XII and provided a NAC-AC valid for PH candidates is declared. Candidates who are hearing impaired must have secured a minimum of 70% in Class XII and provided a valid NAC-AC is declared for deaf and hard of hearing candidates. The candidates in the categories of Orthopedically Handicapped (OH) and those with locomotor disability of lower limbs or both, who are not entitled to any concessions under any of the above categories, must have secured a minimum of 80% in Class XII.

After Batch Commencing in June 2022
Candidates who have passed the NAC-AC for the 2022-23 batch will be eligible for admission on compassionate grounds subject to fulfilling all other requirements. Candidates who have applied for entry into the NCC-AC for the 2022 batch but are not selected, are not eligible for admission to the 2022-23 batch. However, they can apply again as per the standard admission procedure in 2022.
Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 2022 for Women Cadets (END)
Indian Army has launched the Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 2022 for women cadets. The candidates who want to join the Indian Army as commissioned officers can apply for the same. The scheme is applicable to female candidates who have successfully completed their Class XII examinations from the CBSE or any other recognized board and will be appearing for the National Aptitude Test for Army Coaching (NAC-AC) for entry into the Indian Army as an officer. Candidates must pass NAC-AC for the 2022-23 batch. The candidates who have applied for entry into the NCC-AC for the 2022 batch but are not selected, are not eligible for admission to the 2022-23 batch.
