Indian Army Agneepath Scheme
Indian Army Agneepath or Agneepath Yojana is a recruitment process for the posts of General Duty, Technical, Aviation and Ammunition Examiner, Clerk/Store Keeper, and Tradesman for Agniveer for a contract period of four years. After four years of their service in the Indian Army, 25% of Agniveers will be placed in the regular cadre based on merit, willingness, and medical fitness. He will then serve another full term of 15 years. While the other 75% of firemen will be demobilized with an exit or “Seva Nidhi” package of Rs 11-12 lakh. Army Agniveer Recruitment 2024 Apply Online
As per the Indian Army Agniveer Short Notice, the online registration process for 1st batch of Agniveers in the Indian Army through Indian Army Recruitment 2024 will start on 13th February 2024 and applications will be accepted till 21st March 2024. Important Steps to Apply for Army Agniveer Recruitment 2024
Candidates interested in Indian Army Recruitment 2024 are required to submit their application form through the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates can follow the below step-by-step process to apply online for joining the Indian Army Agnvir Recruitment 2024.
Step 1- Visit the official website https://joinindianarmy.nic.in/.
Step 2- On the homepage, click on “Agnipath” appearing on the header.
Step 3- A new page appears with the URL- Click Here
Step 4- If you are a new user then click on “Registration”, after that you will be presented with two options. (1) Do KYC from an Aadhaar card (2) SSC pass certificate number.
Step 5- An OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to the mobile number of the email ID provided by the candidate.
Step 6- Now, submit the registration by creating your passed education, address as well as password, now you are ready to log in to “Agnipath”.
Step 7- Now if the registration is completed then a new page will be displayed through which candidates can check their eligibility for the trade.
Step 8- If you are an old user, log in with a username and password. Read the instructions carefully for more details.
Step 9- Now after reviewing the eligibility, the candidates will be provided the list of rallies for various “Agnipath” which will be held soon and the candidate must select the rally for “Agnipath” according to the eligibility of the candidate.
Step 10- Enter your details, and attach the required documents in the prescribed format. Scanned passport-size photograph of the candidate (10 KB to 20 KB in JPG format) and scanned signature of the candidate (5 KB to 10 KB in JPG format).
Step 11- Now fill in the educational qualification asked to fill in the application form.
Step 12- Pay the required application fee through online mode. After that roll number generates the application form pdf ready.
Step 13- Download the Application Form for Recruitment Rally. Candidates have to print out two copies of the application form which will be required later.

During the Indian Army application form filling, the candidates will need certain sets of documents to ensure they provide the correct information. Furthermore, the aspirants will need to provide the necessary papers during the Indian Army Recruitment as per the rules which are as follows-

- Birth certificate for verification of date of birth.

Indian Army Agniveer Medical Standards
(a) A candidate should have a robust physique and good mental health.
(b) Chest should be well developed having a minimum 5 Cms expansion.
(c) Should have normal hearing with each ear and good binocular vision in both eyes. He should be able to read 6/6 in the distance vision chart with each eye. Color vision should be CP-III.
(d) Should have a sufficient number of natural healthy gum and teeth i.e. a minimum of 14 dental points.
(e) Should not have diseases like deformity of bones, hydrocele varicocele, or piles.
(f) Should recognize red and green colors.
Indian Army Agniveer Salary
The applicants shortlisted for Agniveer in the Armed Forces will be offered a financial package of Rs. 4.75 lacs for the 1st year which will be upgraded to approx. Rs. 6.92 lacs in the 4th year. Besides the annual package, the candidates will be offered allowances like risk & hardship, ration, dress, and travel allowances.
Seva Nidhi: The Seva Nidhi package costs approximately Rs 11.71 lakh, including (Including, interest accumulated on the above amount as per the applicable interest rates would also be paid). 30% of monthly emoluments will be contributed by individuals and an equal amount will be contributed by the Government.
Death Compensation: Non-contributory life insurance cover of Rs 48 lakhs with additional Ex. Gratia of Rs. 44 lakh for death attributable to service. The unreserved portion is up to 4 years including SevaNidhi Component.
