Age Limit for Agniveer Vayu Intake (02/2025):

• Candidate born between 03-07-2004 and 03-01-2008 (both dates inclusive).
• In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrollment should be 21 years.

Qualifications for Agniveer Vayu Intake (02/2025):

• Class 12th (10+2) or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
• OR
• Three-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or Information Technology) with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Agniveer Vayu – Physical Standards

Here’s a breakdown of the physical requirements to become an Agniveer Vayu:

Height:

• Male Candidates: Minimum 152.5 cm.
• Female Candidates: Minimum 152 cm.
• North East/Uttarakhand Hills: Minimum 147 cm.
• Lakshadweep: Minimum 150 cm.

Weight: Your weight should be proportionate to your height and age.

Chest:

• Male Candidates: Minimum chest circumference of 77 cm with at least 5 cm expansion.
• Female Candidates: Well-proportioned and developed chest wall with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.

Hearing:

• You must have normal hearing, able to hear a forced whisper from 6 meters away in each ear individually.

Dental:

• Healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.

Vision Requirements:

• Visual acuity: 6/12 in each eye, correctable to 6/6 in each eye
• Maximum refractive error limits:
  • Hypermetropia: +2.0 Diopters (D)
  • Myopia: 1.0 Diopters (D) including ±0.50 D Astigmatism
• Colour vision: CP-II
